THE CAREER COURSE

If so, our flagship Career Course could be just the course for you.

On our flagship 6-day Career Course consists of six days of hands-on, practical floristry, with the aim to give you a thorough foundation to the floristry industry. Our team of tutors will demonstrate gorgeous items of floristry each day and you will make a minimum of 3 pieces of floristry each day, following a step-by-step method to ensure you develop the necessary skills. Students will create a minimum of 18 modules of floristry during the course duration.

This 6-Day course is essential for anyone seriously considering opening a floristry business, developing an existing business or looking to start out in the floral industry. We pack a lot into this course – it’s brilliant and exciting, full of practical hands on learning, and laced with commercial business knowledge throughout.

There is theory involved also - we cover the principals and elements of design, colour theory, care and conditioning and this information is provided throughout the course, followed by students implementing this knowledge through practical application.

As with all of our courses, we’ll be working with the season’s best materials, including British grown flowers and foliages, sourced directly from our local growing partners when the season allows. No floral foam will be utilised within this course, and single use plastics (for example, anchor or pot tape) will be kept to an absolute minimum.

The Career Course is an introduction to floristry, to try a new skill, and immerse yourself creatively. Many students of ours take the Floristry Taster Class as a first step on their journey before taking this course.

Please note, no prior experience is required to join us on the Career Course. Class size is kept to a maximum of eight students to create a peaceful environment, with plenty of tutor:student interaction. Basic tools will be provided.
